At Infine, we are shaping the future of sustainability in the food industry with our innovative technology, launched in February 2024. Since then, we’ve become a trusted partner for businesses aiming to seamlessly integrate sustainability into their operations while improving profitability and minimising risks.
With increasingly strict European Union regulations, e.g. Green Claims, CSDDD, CSRD, and the EU Deforestation Regulation, expanding sustainability strategies beyond carbon is not only a compliance necessity but also a significant market opportunity. Our Infine Insight service empowers businesses with sustainability insights across seven critical dimensions, enabling them to stay ahead in this evolving landscape.
Infine is a Nordic smart tech startup specialising in sustainability management. Our flagship product, Infine Insight, is a B2B SaaS that provides sustainability intelligence and data analytics for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) businesses to manage product, portfolio, and business sustainability.
Expanding to B2B2C, under development: Another feature with strong market demand is our automated, consumer-friendly, product-specific sustainability indicator that can be embedded in 2D product information pages or any other digital platform.
By leveraging deep technology and scalability, we provide our clients with the tools they need to lead in sustainability, from risk mitigation to opportunity identification.
The global shift towards sustainability is reshaping industries, presenting a significant opportunity for Infine. Companies are increasingly required to showcase their sustainability initiatives, and Infine provides the essential tools to meet these growing demands. With rising regulatory pressures and heightened consumer expectations, Infine is uniquely positioned to capture a large share of this expanding market.
The global shift towards sustainability has become a strategic priority for businesses, driven by stringent regulatory changes and evolving expectations from consumers, owners and internal stakeholders. Currently, around 70% of global companies are actively managing their carbon footprints to align with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) requirements and increasing consumer demand for environmentally sustainable products.
The forthcoming EU Green Claims Directive will impose stricter demands, requiring companies to make accurate and comprehensive sustainability claims. These claims must encompass a broad range of environmental impacts, including carbon emissions, biodiversity, water usage, and adherence to circular economy practices. This Directive reflects a growing emphasis on transparency and accountability in environmental impact, extending beyond traditional carbon metrics.
Adding to the urgency, the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), set to be enforced by 2026, underscores the serious legal and financial stakes for non-compliance. Companies could face sanctions amounting to up to 5% of their annual revenue, and their executives could face criminal charges for failing to address sustainability issues within their value chains in the EU area.
This regulatory environment not only highlights the critical gaps businesses must address but also presents significant market opportunities for software like Infine Insight, which consolidates, analyses and presents the data needed to help companies detect, understand and mitigate risks associated with comprehensive sustainability standards.
At Infine, we are not a junior team learning on the job – we are purpose-driven professionals with decades of experience in technology, sustainability, and business. Our team’s diversity and expertise across these areas bring unique perspectives and proven experience in the FMCG sector. We understand the industry’s unique challenges and opportunities because we’ve been at the forefront of driving its evolution.
Our software Infine Insight was built to address a genuine business demand – created by those who truly understand the industry inside out. As sustainability continues to rise as a top priority for consumers, the FMCG sector must keep pace. Our team is here to ensure that happens.
Our tech experts are leaders in software development, data science, and scalability, constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation to ensure our software remains cutting-edge. Meanwhile, our sustainability specialists bring a wealth of knowledge in sustainable business practices and regulatory compliance, making sure our solutions meet the highest industry standards.
