When processing your personal data, we follow the EU and Finnish legislation applicable to Infine Ltd., as well as the regulations and instructions issued by the authorities. This Privacy Policy applies to representatives and contact persons of legal entities (companies, public administration organizations, associations, foundations and entrepreneurs). Our processing of personal data is based on one or more of the following regulatory bases:
 
Personal consent
Consent is voluntary, documented, individualized, conscious and unambiguous.
 
An agreement to which the data subject is a party
We process the information you provide to fulfill the contract for the service or product you have purchased or ordered. Upon collecting information, we try to separate and inform you about the information needed to fulfill the contract and the information you can provide if you wish.
 
Controller’s legitimate interests
We use personal data for business and customer service analysis and development, product development and reporting, profiling and segmentation, as well as advertising customization and marketing. Our goal is customer acquisition, increasing customer understanding and creating products and services that are better suited to the needs and interests of our customer base.
 
Legal obligation
Processing personal data is based on compliance with legal obligations when we store your information to comply with accounting and other mandatory legislation during and after the customer relationship.
 
The purpose of personal data processing is targeting marketing and advertising to our customers, maintaining customer relations, analyzing and developing our business, as well as product development and reporting. Information about the articles you read on our website is used to target advertising concerning topics that interest you based on the articles you read. Another example of the use of your personal data is the analysis we make of your visits to our website and your movement in different parts of it. This allows us to understand how visitors use our website and can make it more visitor-friendly. The third example of the use of your data is based on the products and services you have previously purchased. We suggest products that we believe will be of interest to you.
We can collect personal data from the following sources:

Directly from the customer when they engage with us, including buying or ordering our services and products, visiting our website, subscribing to our newsletter, responding to a customer satisfaction survey or engaging with us in other ways.
 
Data collected from other sources may be data based on observations, derived data, or data specifically obtained from other sources.
 
Observed data can be collected in connection with the use of our mobile applications, when you visit our website or when you use social media services related to our functions.
 
Derived data is created from your personal data. This may include conclusions made with the help of analytics about your possible interests in order to target direct marketing.
 
In addition, we collect information explicitly from other sources, such as other service providers or publicly available registers, e.g. the trade register, Suomen Numeropalvelu Oy’s database and other reliable public and private registers.
 
Sharing personal data with Infine Ltd. is not mandatory, however, upon declining sharing your data with us, we may not be able to offer you our services or products.
Information to be recorded in the register:
 
a) potential corporate and organizational customer representatives
 
Potential customers are representatives of companies potentially interested in our services. The following information is collected about them in the register:

  • name
  • company/organization
  • information related to the position and tasks, such as area of responsibility and board membership
  • industry
  • contact information such as phone number, email address or address
  • webpage address
  • target group information
 
Infine Ltd. stores information about potential corporate or organizational customers for 5 years. If the data subject refuses marketing, and there is no other basis for processing, information about the ban and contact information will be kept so that compliance with the ban can be ensured.
 
b) contact persons of corporate and organizational customers, from whom the following information is collected in the register: 
 
  • person’s name
  • information related to the position and tasks, such as area of responsibility and board membership
  • company/organization
  • industry
  • contact information such as phone number, email address or address
  • webpage address
  • billing information
  • the IP address of the network connection and information about which articles you have clicked on on our website
  • opening of newsletters and marketing messages and actions taken based on them
  • IDs/profiles on social media platforms
  • information about ordered services and their changes
 
The data of corporate or organizational customers is kept in the register as long as the client relationship exists and for 5 years after, and erased once the client relationship no longer is valid, unless there are pending complaints or other disagreements, which require data processing. Certain information will be stored even after this time to the extent necessary to comply with statutory obligations, such as accounting legislation. In case the data subject refuses marketing, and there is no other basis for processing, information about the ban and contact information will be kept so that compliance with the ban can be ensured. Information is not regularly disclosed to other parties. Information can be published to the extent agreed with the customer.
There are no regular disclosures of data. Data can be published if agreed upon with customer.
 
Data can also be transferred by the controller outside the EU or EEA. 
 
Information on corporate and organizational customer representatives can be disclosed to a third party in a situation where the purchased product or service requires subcontracting from the controller.

Processing data from the register using information systems is done with great care and protected properly. When registry data is stored on Internet servers, the hardware physical and digital data security is protected accordingly. We ensure that saved data and server access rights, as well as other critical information related to personal safety are handled confidentially and solely by staff whose duty it is to handle such data.

Every person in the register has the right to check their information stored there if necessary, and demand the correction of any incorrect information or completion of incomplete information. In case a person wants to see what information about them is stored in the register or demands rectification of incorrect information, the request must be sent in writing to the controller. If necessary, the controller can ask for personal authentication. The controller processes this request usually within a month, a timeframe stipulated in the EU data protection regulation.

A person has the right to request the removal of their personal data from the register (“the right to be forgotten”). Persons in the register have other rights according to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation as well, such as limiting the processing of personal data in certain situations.

Such requests are to be presented in writing (mail or email) to the controller (info@infine.fi). The controller can ask for personal authentication if necessary. The controller processes this request usually within a month, as stipulated in the EU data protection regulation.

Infine Ltd. updates this privacy statement throughout the development of its operations and services. Updates may also be necessary and based on changes in legislation. Updates to the policy can be checked on the infine.fi website, where the latest data protection statement is always displayed. Infine Ltd. can also notify registered users of changes to the Privacy policy by electronic notification, if deemed appropriate.
